About Jon Collins Tiling services

Jon Collins Tiling Services is a Sheffield-based tiling business run by Jon Collins. It tiles bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, conservatories and commercial spaces with ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, glass and natural stone tiles. The services listed are floor tiling, wall tiling, bathroom tiling including walk-in showers and wet areas, kitchen splashbacks, fireplaces and feature walls. Patterns offered include brick bond, herringbone and hexagonal layouts.

Jon works across Sheffield and surrounding areas of South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. Every project is personally managed by Jon from the initial discussion through to completion. He visits to assess the room, existing background and selected tiles before explaining the available options and providing a free quotation. Surfaces are checked for level and stability, and preparation may include self-levelling compound, cement backer boards, waterproofing and tanking systems for wet areas. Dust sheets protect carpets and stairs during work. Jon considers setting out, balanced cuts, consistent joints, corners and edges to create a finish suited to the space.

Jon Collins Tiling Services has traded for 19 years across domestic homes, commercial premises, care environments and new-build properties. Jon holds an NVQ Level 2 qualification in wall and floor tiling and a blue CSCS skilled worker card. Previous work includes travertine-effect porcelain flooring, stone-effect tiles, mosaics and floor-to-ceiling bathroom installations. Landlords and commercial clients use the business for entrances, communal spaces and hospitality settings.
