Two sheets, free for any UK tiler: a tanking record that shows what went behind the tiles in a wet area, signed by you and the customer, and a quote sheet with the measurements and your labour lines. Type your business name and add your logo, and both print with them at the top.
Why record the tanking
Tiles and grout are not waterproof. In a shower or a wet room the waterproofing is the membrane behind them, and once the room is tiled nobody can see it. A record of the primer, the membrane and its batch, the tapes, the drain and a flood test, with photos taken before the first tile went on, is the only evidence of what is there. It answers the question a leak raises years later, and it shows a customer the work they are paying for.
The quote sheet puts the measurements and each labour line on one page, so a customer can see how the total was reached, and whether tiles are in it.
What you type, and your logo, stay in this browser. They are remembered here for next time and never sent to us.
Templates, not legal advice. Read both sheets through before you use them, change anything that does not fit how you work, and follow your membrane maker's instructions where they differ.
