About R. A. Tiling
R.A. Tiling is a Sheffield-based tiler run by Rich, who has 4 years' experience. The business tiles bathrooms, kitchens, floors, downstairs WCs, conservatories and feature walls for homes across Sheffield, Barnsley, Penistone, Stocksbridge, Oxspring and Huddersfield.
Bathroom work includes full wall and floor tiling, shower areas and bath surrounds. Old tiles are stripped back to the wall, and damaged plasterboard is replaced with water-resistant board. Kitchen tiling covers splashbacks, full kitchen walls and floors, with cuts around sockets and worktops set out evenly. Floor tiling is laid on a solid base, and conservatory floors are hard-wearing and properly prepared. Each job starts with a site visit to measure up and check the walls and floors.
R.A. Tiling provides free, itemised quotes that list every material with a link to each product, labour costs shown separately, and proposed start and finish dates. Quotes are sent the same day. The business is usually booked 4 to 6 weeks ahead. Materials cost is requested a week before the job starts so everything is ordered and ready.
Dust sheets and plastic coverings go down before work begins, and the home is tidied at the end of every day. Rich deals directly with customers from the first call to the final clean-up. The business holds professional indemnity insurance. Recent projects include bathroom and kitchen tiling in Barnsley and Thurlstone, and conservatory flooring in Penistone.
