How tilers get onto the site

We list tilers from public information: a business's own website, its public business profile and its trading address. Each listing records the evidence that the business is based where we say it is, and the date we last checked its details. We list businesses that lead with tiling; a firm that also does a second trade can say so. If you are a tiler and not listed, email us from the contact page with your business name, base town and website.

Claiming and correcting your listing

Every listing has a Modify listing button. Corrections are free, and removal requests are honoured. Claiming your listing, also free, lets you receive enquiries by email, each with the customer's job card: rooms, areas, tile type, what is underneath and when they want the work done. Claimed listings also get a monthly report of how often the listing was seen.

What Premium adds

Premium is £12 a month plus VAT, with no contract. It adds an enquiry inbox, up to 24 portfolio photos, a price list (day rate, minimum charge, wall and floor per m², and extras such as tanking and large format), a lead time such as "Booking from w/c 3 Nov", a reply note, and a check of your details by a person. It does not change your position. Listings are never ordered by payment, and nothing on the site is a paid placement.

Credentials

If you hold The Tile Association membership, a TrustMark licence or a Schlüter Registered Installer listing, tell us. A person checks it against that body's public directory, and we print it with the date it was checked and a link to the directory. A CSCS card is checked on CSCS's online card checker. An NVQ has no public register, so it is shown as stated by you. No credential is required to be listed, and none moves a listing up or down.
