About Westwoods tiling

Westwoods Tiling is a tiling business in Birmingham run by David, who won the Tile Fixer of the Year award from The Tile Association in 2023 and holds Master Tile Fixer accreditation. The business tiles walls and floors in ceramic, porcelain, encaustic tiles, natural stone, concrete, clay, slate, glass, metals, marble and granite for residential and commercial clients. Work includes kitchens, bathrooms, hallway floors, fireplace surrounds, shower walls and splashbacks, with herringbone patterns a particular focus.

Westwoods Tiling covers Birmingham and the surrounding area. A home visit is arranged to measure the space and discuss tile finishes, colours, layouts and design ideas. A free written quotation follows. Seven days before installation, the business confirms the appointment. Dust guards with zip entry are fitted to doorways if existing tiles need removing. The space is fully prepared and the planned layout is walked through before work begins. At the end of each day, all equipment and materials are tidied away. Once tiling is complete, the surface is cleaned, sealant is applied if required, grout is carefully applied and a final clean is carried out.

The business is a member of The Tile Association and follows current British and European tiling standards. David has completed three TTA Technical Masterclass certificates and attended specialist training courses. In 2025, Westwoods Tiling was awarded Highly Commended in the Domestic Project category at the TTA Awards.
