Timber Decking Tiles

About Timber Decking Tiles

Timber Decking Tiles is a supplier of timber decking tiles based in Oxted. The business manufactures and supplies timber decking tiles for terraces, roofs and patios, and also provides green roof systems and modular green roofs for balconies and smaller areas. The tiles are made from hardwoods and softwoods sourced from sustainable Brazilian forests, with the two main types being Ipe and Cumaru timber. These timbers are chosen for their attractive finish and longer lifespan, and are exceptionally tough, resist water absorption and resist fungus and mildew in British weather.

Timber Decking Tiles offers all types of tile sizes, finishes and designs, including diagonal designs and mosaic patterns that can be installed in straight lines or chess board formations. The tiles are free standing once installed, meaning they can be easily removed and replaced if the area beneath needs inspection. The business also supplies border trims in matching timber, which are screwed into the sides of tiles to hide cavities and support pads and help secure the system. Edges and finishes can be cut to fit around details and corners.

The modular green roofs are delivered as complete pre-grown units that are already established and strong enough to withstand the period after installation. The modules are stacked vertically for easier crane handling, and egg box shaped drainage sheeting produces an air gap that maintains vegetation for up to 3 days before installation. All timber used by the business comes with a certificate of origin and complies with IBAMA, the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources.
