About The Victorian Floor Company
The Victorian Floor Company is a tiling business based in Derby. It lays Victorian and Edwardian geometric and encaustic tiles in hallways, bathrooms and conservatories indoors, and on driveways and footpaths outside. The reproduction tiles are manufactured in the same way as Victorian originals, with a large range of colours and shapes available for period properties and modern homes alike.
The business covers Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire, and has completed projects across the country including Blackpool, Manchester, Sheffield, London and Jersey. Each job starts with a discussion of the customer's exact wishes. Surfaces are prepared, tiles are laid and grouting is finished. The team has more than 25 years of combined experience creating Victorian and Edwardian floors.
The business works for homeowners restoring period properties and those adding period tiles to modern homes. Previous installations include work at Blenheim, Arundel and Chatsworth. Tiles are cut on site where needed, and the finish is designed to add value to any property. The Victorian Floor Company is based between Derby and Nottingham, which gives access to transport links across the Midlands and beyond.
