About Stortford Tiling & Marble Ltd
Stortford Tiling and Marble is a family-run tiling business based near Bishop's Stortford in Hertfordshire, now in its third, fourth and fifth generation of tradespeople. It works on residential and commercial projects, from small jobs for private individuals to large commercial contracts.
The business specialises in ceramic, mosaic and porcelain tiling and in natural stone, including manufacturing granite and marble worktops and restoring Victorian paths and slate or terracotta floors. It can carry out preparation work and supply and install waterproof tanking systems and specialised matting.
For residential clients it provides labour-only tiling or a fully inclusive service, and helps with sourcing tiles or stone and delivering samples to the customer's home. Its commercial work runs from tender to handover and ranges from housing estate refurbishments to large design and build projects. It works with builders, architects, specifiers and interior designers, and can help create M40 specifications or work to a client's own.
