About Godo Tiling and Bathrooms

Godo Tiling and Bathrooms is a tiling and bathroom renovation business run by Renato, based in Ashford. The business handles bathroom refurbishments from design and tear-out through to final fitting, including first-fix plumbing, waterproofing, precision tiling and installation of sanitaries and screens. Tiling services cover porcelain, ceramic, natural stone such as marble and limestone, mosaic features, and herringbone and patterned formats for walls, floors, splashbacks and shower areas.

Preparation is central to the approach. Decoupling membranes are laid on floor screeds and wooden joists to absorb movement and prevent cracks. Cement backer boards are used in high-moisture zones instead of standard plasterboard. Self-levelling compounds flatten uneven subfloors before large-format tiles are laid. Moisture testing and priming of screeds ensure proper adhesive adhesion. Multi-layer waterproofing membranes are applied to all wet areas. Tile layout is planned to avoid awkward cuts, and premium adhesives and straight lines are used throughout. Work areas are kept tidy and dust is managed with specialized extracting tools during cuts.

The business covers Ashford, Kent and East Sussex, including Canterbury, Folkestone, Faversham, Dover, Margate, Ramsgate, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Broadstairs, Deal, Sandwich, Rye, Hastings and Bexhill. Bathroom types include complete bathrooms, wet rooms, walk-in showers, ensuites and cloakrooms. Tiling-only installations are offered for customers with their own plumber. Quotes are provided through an online builder or by WhatsApp with photos.
