About Chiltern Marble
Chiltern Marble is a stone fabrication and tiling business based in Bedford. It fabricates and installs kitchen worktops made from granite, marble, quartzite, quartz, ceramic and sintered stone. The business also supplies tiles and carries out tiling work. It works for homeowners, kitchen retailers, interior designers, residential builders and commercial clients.
The business holds over 1,000 slabs in stock, including over 800 different materials and 200 offcuts. Customers can visit the showroom to view materials or pick slabs online. Once a slab is chosen, a templating team visits the site to take measurements and discuss requirements. The fabrication uses CNC machinery and wet diamond cutting and polishing equipment. Stone masons then complete the work, which goes through quality control before installation. The installation team returns to fit the worktops.
Chiltern Marble was founded in 1998 and operates from a 20,000 square foot factory and showroom in the heart of Bedfordshire. It completes over 2,000 jobs each year. The business has a contracts division, Chiltern Contracts, based in London. The team has over 150 years combined experience. Materials are sourced from suppliers worldwide and include eco-friendly and sustainable options. The business works alongside other tradesmen on private and commercial projects. Customers can request a quote, visit the showroom, or fill out an enquiry form to get started.
