4homes is an employee-owned interior design and installation business based in Sidmouth. Founded in 1983 by Alan and Patricia Parrish, it designs and installs fitted kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms for homeowners across East Devon. The business also supplies tiles, flooring, Little Greene Paint and designer wallpapers from its Sidmouth showroom.

Work follows a seven-stage process. An initial enquiry is followed by a free design consultation at the customer's home, where an interior designer takes measurements, photographs and discusses how the space is used. The design team then creates detailed plans, elevations and photorealistic 3D representations, with mood boards showing paint finishes, tiles, flooring, cabinet styles, worksurfaces and appliances. Customers are invited to the showroom for a full presentation on an interactive display screen, and can request revisions. Before installation begins, a project manager carries out a pre-contract survey to assess the structure and services and confirm costs. Installation is coordinated by the project manager, with teams including plasterers, tilers, electricians, plumbers, carpenters and decorators, most directly employed by 4homes. A formal handover meeting follows completion, with warranty documentation and maintenance briefing provided. Aftercare support continues after handover.

4homes became 100% employee-owned in September 2022, with every team member a co-owner. The business holds the Good Business Charter certification across all ten components, covering real living wage, fair contracts, employee wellbeing, diversity, environmental responsibility and ethical sourcing. It has traded since 1983 and serves Sidmouth, Exeter, Honiton, Seaton, Ottery St Mary and surrounding villages.
